Zimbabwe's 'Big Five' Banknotes Set for Rollout, Govt Says

The Zimbabwean central bank has announced that all is in place to distribute the new ZWG notes. In an official statement, the bank said financial institutions have finalized the necessary logistics and operational modalities to ensure a "seamless" transition.

Central Bank Governor John Mushayavanhu said the "Big Five" series has already been rolled out nationwide in quantities sufficient for demand, while remaining consistent with established daily and weekly withdrawal limits, and will follow a phased approach.
