Kenya: Voter Kits Procurement Nears Completion

The Government says plans are at an advanced stage to procure the Biometric Voter Registration kits through a concession worth 4.6 billion shillings from the Canadian Government. A Canadian firm, Code Incorporated Limited that is on the verge of clinching the multi-billion shilling tender to supply the electronic voter registration kits has already identified partner companies to register an estimated 18 million voters ahead of the March 2013 polls.
