In West Africa, there are deadly consequences for a person with albinism, a rare condition where the body doesn't produce melanin. Albinism affects people of all races, age and class. We believe that more needs to be done to tackle the stigma around albinism and it starts with embracing our differences, speaking openly and unlearning our misconceptions around albinism.
