Launch of the IDB Business Plan Competition

The Islamic Development Bank Group, the largest international leading multilateral financial institution in the Muslim World, has recently introduced the Business Plan Competition for Sub-Saharan African Countries.

This initiative, one of the first of its kind, is a Competition dedicated to business entrepreneurs of the Sub-Saharan Africa Region to develop and further refine their business ideas.

Candidates are invited to submit their business plans where they have a chance to enjoy several benefits from the IDB Group including cash prizes, training materials, mentorship, media exposure, and networking opportunities with investors and partners.

Aiming to encourage entrepreneurship and increase the spread of new business ideas, this Competition is open to entrepreneurs from 22 different IDB member countries. Applications are now open and candidates are welcome to apply until April 30, 2014.
