Global Infrastructure Forum 2018

Laguna Villas, Bali, Indonesia — The Asian Development Bank will host the Global Infrastructure Forum 2018 on the sidelines of the IMF and the World Bank Group Annual Meeting in Bali, Indonesia. Discussions will primarily focus on how to further leverage technology to enhance coordination among the leading multilateral financial institutions and their development partners to provide sustainable, accessible, and resilient infrastructure.

The GI Forum will also discuss how governments and their partners can attract much needed funding for critical infrastructure needs in developing countries, as well as how infrastructure development and financing efforts are contributing to achieving the UN Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs) and the Paris climate goals.

An outcome statement and progress report will be drafted based on the results of the forum.

ADB is hosting the event in partnership with African Development Bank, Asian Infrastructure Investment Bank, European Bank for Reconstruction and Development, European Investment Bank, Inter-American Development Bank, Islamic Development Bank, New Development Bank, United Nations, and World Bank.
