Heavy rains did not deter this group of Liberian women from lining up at a polling center in Liberia's capital Monrovia to cast their ballots in the country's second democratic elections since the end of the civil war. Voting took place at 4,457 polling places spread across 1,780 voting precincts throughout the country.
