Peace and Security Council took note of the request made by the President of the Transitional Federal Government of Somalia for the enhancement of the security situation in his country, as well as the proposal by the IGAD Ministerial Facilitation Committee, and requested the Commission to study these proposals and submit to it recommendations, for consideration.
