Taking Action: The UK Government's strategy for tackling HIV and AIDS in the developing world

This strategy sets out how the UK government will respond to the challenge of HIV and AIDS in the developing world. The UK is committed to spending at least £1.5bn over the next three years on AIDS related work in the developing world. It shows how they will promote a comprehensive response; prioritise women, young people and orphans and focus on human rights. It ensures that responses to AIDS are immediate as well as long-term.
