The findings of the FSAU, FEWSNET, and its partners’ post Deyr ‘08/09 seasonal assessment confirm that there is an ongoing and sustained Humanitarian Crisis in Somalia, with 43% of the total population of the country, or around 3.2 million people, in need of emergency livelihood and life-saving assistance at least until June 2009.
