Former anti-corruption czar John Githongo has joined hands with constitutional expert Yash Pal Ghai and former T.I. boss Gladwell Otieno to push for the implementation of the new constitution. These once very prominent public figures have launched a campaign dubbed 'KATIBA YETU, MAISHA YETU,' aimed at pressurizing the political class to speedily implement the new laws. They are calling on the president and the prime minister to lead the way in this endeavour and in the fight against impunity as well. The new grouping is planning a series of meetings across the counties to sensitize wananchi on their role in getting the new constitution implemented.
