Preparations are in top gear for a number of events to honour the late Prof. Wangari Maathai on Friday.A special mass will be held at the holy family basilica in Nairobi, and various artists are scheduled to perform at the KICC grounds. But as Harith Salim reports, another mass planned at her home village in Nyeri, is likely to be poorly attended due to the bad state of the local road network.
