Museveni Defends Gilbert Bukenya

President Yoweri Museveni has admitted that the cabinet discussed the corruption charges facing dr Gilbert Bukenya, but denied that he actively advocated for the charges to be dropped. Speaking during a news conference at State House Entebbe, Museveni confirmed that although all discussions he had about professor Bukenya were private, it turned out that the IGG also found out that his former deputy had no case to answer.
