KDF jets, supported by artillery fire from naval gunships, destroyed the two Al Shabaab training camps at around noon on Sunday. The camps are said to have been used only by foreign Muslim extremists to train Al Shabaab fighters. Earlier in the day, there was heavy artillery fire around the town of Burgavo as the navy targeted suspected Al Shabaab positions.
