Govt to Avert Looming Doctors' Strike

The Government has moved in to avert a looming strike by doctors, with Public Health Minister Beth Mugo saying the Government is willing to negotiate. The doctors have threatened to go on strike in December if their working conditions are not improved. The Government has until the 5th of December to work on ways of increasing doctors' salary by 300 percent or face an indefinite strike by doctors in all public health facilities.
