With inflation having risen to a whopping 19.72 percent in November little is to be expected in the shopping basket this holiday season. A further increase of 1.35 percent in the food and non-alcoholic index between October and November many have been left worrying whether or not they can keep up with this high cost of living. And with price increases being witnessed in beef, bread, potatoes, chicken, wheat flour and sugar critics have spelled out a black Christmas season this year.
