Doctors' Strike Finally Over?

The Kenya Medical Practitioners, Pharmacist and Dentist Union has called off the ongoing doctor's strike that had paralyzed all public hospitals across the country. Members of the union have endorsed the final offer from the Government after their latest proposals were included in the offer. The proposals included involvement of the union in the development of health policies and a modality of compensation to the Registrars at public hospitals.
