With fishing providing an ever increasingly uncertain future, some of West Africa's fishermen are considering their options elsewhere.

Stories of desperate fishermen attempting to make the crossing to Europe can be found all along the coast here. It is but one of the social impacts of overfishing of West Africa's stocks by industrial fishing fleets from Europe and Asia.
