The United Kingdom dismissed as fake and malicious a dossier tabled in parliament allegedly seeking President Kibaki's indictment by the ICC. UK's minister for African affairs Henry Bellingham has distanced the UK from the dossier alleged to have originated in Britain that also sought the detaining of Deputy Prime Minister Uhuru Kenyatta and Eldoret North Mp William Ruto. Bellingham has also refuted claims that the UK is interested in the outcome of the upcoming presidential elections, rubbishing claims that the UK is keen to see Prime Minister Raila Odinga ascend to the presidency. But as Hussein Mohamed, he fell short of commenting on whether the UK is funding the ICC witness protection programme.
