The Parliamentary Committee on Defence and Foreign Affairs has summoned the director of the national intelligence service, Major General Michael Gichangi to appear before it on Wednesday at two thirty in the afternoon or risk being reprimanded by the committee. This is after Gichangi failed to honour an invitation to appear before the committee on Tuesday to shed light on the dossier alleged to have been authored by the U.K government, seeking to have President Mwai Kibaki prosecuted at the ICC once his term in office ends. And as Andrew Ochieng reports, police commissioner Mathew Iteere appeared before the committee and was granted 2 more weeks to submit a report on the authenticity of the dossier.
