Kenya: UK Dossier Probe Hits a Snag

For the second day running, National Intelligence Service Director Major General Michael Gichangi failed to appear before the Parliamentary Committee on Defense and Foreign Relations. Gichangi was to help shed light on a dossier allegedly authored by the British Government which claimed that the UK wanted the ICC to indict President Mwai Kibaki once he leaves office. But, after he failed to turn up, the committee said it would now seek legal advice on what action to take against the country's chief spy. However, members of the cabinet sub-committee on the ICC did submit themselves for grilling. And, as Andrew Ochieng reports, the committee is also seeking audience with the two principals over the matter.
