River Niger is the principle of west Africa extending 4180 kilomtres. Its source is on the Guinea Highlands in Guinea and then though Mali, Nigeria and then into gulf of Gunea in Atlantic ocean. The names of Niger and Nigeria are derived from this River were there is a source of livelihood of many people across the countries.
