The judiciary has launched a national sexual offender's register that is expected to help curb the rising cases of sexual offences in the country. The system has been designed to allow authorities to keep track of the activities of sex offenders, including those who have completed their jail sentences. The automation process which started on Tuesday, it is hoped, will deter potential and repeat sexual offenders. Sally Mbilu reports on the groundbreaking innovation.
