The ministry of energy is working on a new legal policy that will address uncertainties over the distribution of revenues generated from Kenya's newly found oil fields in Turkana. Energy minister Kiraitu Murungi says the current petroleum act of 1986, does not have provisions for the distribution of oil revenues to devolved units, a factor that poses a threat to development of the oil sector......Henry Githaiga brings us details of that story.
