Floods Disrupt Learning In Kenya

Floods have compelled education officials to halt learning activities in several schools across the country. A spot check by Citizen TV, shows that schools in Samburu, Kirinyaga, Narok and Nakuru counties are some of those that have had their structures damaged and learning activities disrupted. This, even as kengen issued a warning to families living in the downstream of Tana basin to move to higher grounds, saying that out of the 5 dams on the river, 4 of them have spilt over.
