Presidential aspirants have upped their game in the hunt for the Diaspora vote not only by globetrotting, but also embracing the use of modern technology in courting that strong voting bloc. Vice President Kalonzo Musyoka is still campaigning in the U.S.A. where he met Kenyans living in Atlanta after similar visits to Boston and Texas. Back home, the independent electoral and boundaries commission has already come up with key guidelines on the management of the Diaspora vote given that this is the first time Kenyans living abroad will be casting their ballot in a general election. Alex Chamwada reports on why politicians are going full blast in their quest to capture that crucial vote.
