Uganda: Gay Activists to be Charged After Investigations

The Police are continuing with investigations into a group of suspected gay activists who were briefly detained yesterday a Kampala suburb. Commissioner of police for Kampala Metropolitan in CID Charles Katalatambi says information is being it's only after the investigations that the police will decide whether to prefer the charges against the suspects or not. Ethics and integrity minister Rev Simon Lokodo has scoffed at donor countries and US President Barack Obama saying Uganda would rather forego aid than accept activities of the gay community in Uganda.
