DPP withdraws Kabakumba charges

The Director of Public Prosecution, DPP has dropped charges of theft of a transmitter and broadcasting equipment against former minister for the Presidency Kabakumba Masiko. The former minister and also Bujenje County MP was forced to resign in December last year after allegations that she has been illegally using property of the Public broadcaster UBC for kingdom FM where she owns shares. However the DPP found two Engineers culpable and they were charged before Anti Corruption Court today.
