Teachers' Strike in Uganda Ends

The National Teachers' strike has come to an end this week with national prayers expected across the weekend. The strike that was based around the theme; "civic response to the public education crisis" began with a halt to teaching activities in schools, a presentation of a petition to parliament and national inter-religious prayers.
