Inzikuru Blames Bad Performance on Poor Facilitation

Abandoned by those who were supposed to spur her on to olympic glory, former World and Commonwealth steeplechase champion Dorcus Inzikuru's journey to the 2012 London Olympics was one against all odds. The Ugandan gazelle's tale is one of resilience and determination where all else seemed to fail her, from the absence of a trainer and manager, to having to find track shoes for herself. Although she qualified for London with a superb time of 9 minutes and 30 seconds, ill preparation would soon be out to haunt her at the games. Inzikuru, who returned last week, spoke to NTV about her pre and Olympic experience.
