Police Vow to Rescue Kidnapped Enugu Vice-Chancellor

The Police Commissioner in the Enugu state police command, Musa Daura, has said the police are intensifying effort to locate the kidnapped Vice-Chancellor of the Enugu State University of Science and Technology, ESUT, Professor Cyprian Onyeji.


He disclosed that relevant information has been given to the neighbouring states, adding that the force will ensure that the vice chancellor is rescued alive.


The VC was kidnapped on the 13th of this month at the main gate of the university and is yet to be released by his abductors.
