AfricanSpotlight joined Nigerians in New York to celebrate the 2012 Entertainment Awards Night.
The 7th annual Awards night, held at the New York University Skirball Performing Arts Center, in New York City.


The hosts Funke Akindele - Oloyede and AY the comedian, kept a lively atmosphere as they ushered in performers like Waje, Davido, Ice Prince, Vector and eLDee to name a few.
The EME crew, Banky W, Wizkid, and Skales, who were all in attendance, brought the show to a close, with actor and singer Rotimi joining them on stage to perform songs from their latest album. After the EME performance, as is the tradition of the NEA Awards, all actors, artists, industry executives etc. were brought on stage and treated to a standing ovation by the audience before dancing out to officially close the show.
