Nominated MP and the East African Community Minister Musa Sirma plans to ditch the Orange Democratic Party for Eldoret North MP William Ruto's United Republican Party. Sources told Citizen TV that Sirma held talks with Ruto yesterday to finalise details of his impeding defection and an announcement would be made in about a week's time when Sirma returns from an official trip outside the country. Sirma now joins the likes of Sotik MP Joyce Laboso who has also joined URP and nominated MP Rachel Shebesh who has all but ditched the orange party for Uhuru Kenyatta's The National Alliance. Willis Raburu has these and more on the unfolding shifting of alliances ahead of next year's General Election.
