All roads today led to the Kololo Independence grounds as thousands upon thousands of people gathered to celebrate Uganda's Golden Jubilee. A number of African Presidents and over 40 delegations from across the continent and further afield were also part of those who witnessed Uganda's history being written. In his keynote speech, President Yoweri Museveni expressed his desire to transform the Country into a first World Country over the years to come using the revenue from agriculture, tourism and Industries and the oil sector.
