Kenya Begins Search for New Deputy Chief Justice

The Judicial Service Commission is meeting next week to formally begin the process of appointing a new deputy chief justice following the resignation of Nancy Barasa. The process starts with Chief Justice Dr. Willy Mutunga gazetting the vacancy.

ustice Minister Eugene Wamalwa warns that the rigorous process must be expedited given that Parliament will be dissolved in less than three months' time, and the Supreme Court will be key in hearing and determining election petitions.
