The next three weeks will be critical for presidential contenders, keen on crafting winning alliances ahead of the March 4th, 2013 race to State House. The Elections Act sets December 4th, as the deadline for negotiating and concluding pre-poll pacts. An alliance between Deputy Prime Minister Uhuru Kenyatta and Eldoret North MP William is almost done, with focus being directed by their teams at wooing presidential contenders Musalia Mudavadi, Kalonzo Musyoka, Charity Ngilu and Eugene Wamalwa into the fold.
