Police Killed by Kenyan Cattle Raiders

The number of police officers killed in yesterday's banditry attack in Baragoi, Samburu County, has risen to 28 after more bodies were discovered.

The Kenya Red Cross,alongside police officers deployed in the area, found the bodies this morning during a search and retrieval mission. Meanwhile, Internal Security Minister Katoo Ole Metito, who has been on official duty in Israel, is said to have cut short his trip upon receiving the news and is expected to return to the country by midday Monday to take charge of the security situation in the area.
