President Mwai Kibaki has promised to continue revamping facilities for alternative modes of transport in the country, in order to effectively deal with traffic jams within the city centre and its outskirts. Kibaki who officially commissioned the modern railway station at Syokimau in Embakasi also urged Kenyans to protect the newly constructed and improved infrastructure in the country, from unscrupulous vandals who threaten to erode gains made in revamping transport facilities in the country.
