Blast in Kenya's Capital Injures Dozens

Seven people have been confirmed dead after a matatu was attacked with a grenade in Nairobi's Eastleigh area. Several other people were injured in the attack on the Route 28 matatu.

Witnesses say the grenade was hurled into the matatu that was ferrying passengers. The incident happened near St Teresa at Mlango Kubwa. Those who were injured have been rushed to Kenyatta National Hospital (KNH) for treatment. About 30 people with serious injuries are being treated at KNH.
