Kenya: Assault on police officers shocking-Minister

Minister for Internal Security, Katoo Ole Metito spoke about the killings in Baragoi for the first time today after touring injured officers at the Kenyatta National Hospital. Metito said the government and leaders in Turkana and Samburu will work together in ensuring normalcy returns to the affected areas. He also admitted that the ratio of police and civilians in the country is far below international standards.
