New East Africa Community Headquarters Opened in Tanzania

The permanent headquarters of the East Africa Community were inaugurated today in Arusha. Kenyan President Mwai Kibaki led representatives from the five countries and other dignitaries including His highness the Aga Khan whose foundation is working with the regional body to foster growth in the region. The building will house the three arms of the EAC.
