Kenya: Uneasy Calm Returns to Kisumu After Riots

Pockets of riots on Sunday rocked Kisumu County after disputed results of the just-concluded ODM nominations. In Nyando constituency, angry youths barricaded the busy Kisumu-Nairobi highway, forcing anti-riot police to lob several teargas canisters to disperse the protesters. Similar protests rocked Kondele area in Kisumu town where irate youths burnt tyres while condemning the results of the exercise. NTV's Ouko Okusah reports from the lakeside city, where an uneasy calm has returned.
