South African Protester Andries Tatane's Case to be Presented

The State has closed its case against seven police officers accused of killing Ficksburg protester Andries Tatane in 2011. Tatane died after being assaulted and shot with rubber bullets during a service delivery protest in the Free State town. Now, after two years which saw the case being delayed and postponed several times, the defence will have an opportunity to present its case on Friday.
