The scorched facade of El-Amir Tadros Coptic church in the central Egyptian city of Minya serves as a stark reminder of the political crisis sweeping the country. On August 14, the church was attacked by unknown assailants, shortly after an army crackdown on protest camps set up in Cairo by supporters of ousted president Mohamed Morsi.
