12 Confirmed Dead In Lagos Boat Accident

12 persons have been confirmed dead and 6 others rescued after a boat capsized last night in Lagos according to emergency rescue officials. The General Manager of LASEMA, Femi Oke-Osanyintolu, told Channels Television on Wednesday that 12 and not 13 bodies had been recovered from the scene of the boat accident, in Lagos. He confirmed that the incident occurred at about 7:30PM on Tuesday and that 6 persons survived. NEMA officials had reported that 13 bodies were recovered.
