UN Peacekeeping Force Approved for Central African Republic

VOA's Vincent Makori reports on the ongoing crisis in the Central African Republic. The United Nations Security Council unanimously approved on the creation of a U.N. peacekeeping force in the Central African Republic, in an attempt to end the violence between Christians and Muslims that is threatening to spiral into genocide. Samantha Power, the U.S. Ambassador to the United Nations, was in the Central African Republic on Wednesday and spoke about the prospects for the U.N. force.
