Jos Bomb Attack: Two Explosions In Central Area Of Jos Leave 46 Dead

At least 46 persons have been killed in two bomb blasts in the central area of Jos, the Plateau State capital. The explosions, believed to have been caused by an Improvised Explosive Device (IED), occurred around the busy Jos Main Market, between railway terminus and the temporary site of the Jos University Teaching Hospital. The Commissioner of Police in Plateau State, Chris Olakpe, confirmed the casualty figure on Tuesday. He said that 46 people were killed in the twin explosions with unidentified number of persons injured.
