Ugandan television station, NTV Uganda, has received a government ban from broadcasting any presidential events. The ban follows a live broadcast featuring Ugandan President Yoweri Museveni, which appeared to show him asleep during a parliamentary debate. According to government spokesperson David Katungi, President Museveni was not asleep at all, to the contrary, he was simply meditating. And the suggestion that he was sleeping merited a ban. The jury is out on the meditation vs sleeping debate, but as usual, Ikenna has an opinion he'd like to share...
