A song with one word in it. Used once! "Jol"! The Kerels were Gary Herselman, bassist Gary Sparks and drummer Neil Fishwick. They were recorded at Shifty by Lloyd Ross and Gary H, like Jonathan Handley of The Radio Rats (with whom he performed as a Rat) wrote some great songs and knew that laughing at the absurdity of life here is one of the qualities that makes a great South African song. "The Bezuidenhouts" is one such! This video was shot at their (first) farewell show at Jamesons in Johannesburg.
