The Journalistis a trailblazing South African media project that mentors young people and features the artistry of fine storytellers.

Meqoqo is a regular multimedia story in The Journalist's Spotlight section with host Linda Fekisi. Linda is part of the core group of students and graduates with whom we have been working. She will interview people in the news, starting with Chester Missing aka Conrad Koch. We believe that satire and humour are vital elements for the growth and development of a healthy national consciousness.

Meqoqo is a collection of conversations in Sesotho.

Linda Fekisi is originally from a small border town called Sterkspruit in the Eastern Cape. She graduated from the University of the Free State (The Journalist's founding partner) with an honours degree in Media Studies and Journalism.

The Chester Missing interview was shot on location at Sabria's, the Cosy Corner restaurant... A landmark that has been a gathering place and Meqoqo hub for Capetonians for many generations.
