An annual international conference on language arrangements, documentation and publication (IAMLADP) will take place from June 29-July 1, 2009, in Tunis. The AfDB is hosting the event for the first time. The conference will be attended by the AfDB President, Donald Kaberuka, the Deputy Secretary-General of the General Assembly and the UN Conference Management Services, language officials of UN agencies, the European Commission, OECD, and the European Parliament. The AfDB Corporate Language Services Unit (CLSU) is coordinating the initiative on behalf of the Bank Group. IAMLADP is a UN forum whose objective is to enhance language services efficiency, quality and profitability, conference and publication services within the UN system and in member organizations.
